Baby Journey – Terms and Conditions
Baby Journey AB, reg. no. 559214-9966, provides a modern guide for pregnant individuals and parents of young children through our application and website (the „Service“). The Service is designed to reduce loneliness during pregnancy and foster a sense of community among pregnant individuals, partners, and parents of young children. Through our Service, we at Baby Journey AB walk side by side with the user from the first positive pregnancy test, through childbirth, and until the child turns two years old.
1. Definitions
In these Terms, the following definitions apply:
“User”, “the User”: Pregnant individuals, Partners, Relatives, and Parents of young children who use Baby Journey.
“User Account”: The user account created when registering with Baby Journey.
“Data”: All data transferred by you to Baby Journey AB upon registration and use of the Service.
“Pregnant individual”: The physical person whose pregnancy is being followed in Baby Journey.
“Website”: https://babyjourney.se/
“Partner”: The physical person who is the partner of the Pregnant individual.
“Relative”: Physical persons following the pregnancy of the Pregnant individual through the Service.
“Baby Journey”: Baby Journey AB, reg. no. 559214–9966.
“Personal Data”: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (the “Data Subject”), such as name, personal ID number, or residential address.
“Partner Company”: An entity with which Baby Journey has entered into a collaboration, as specified within the Service.
“Parent of young child”: Physical persons tracking their own or another child’s development via Baby Journey.
“The Terms”: These user terms and conditions which apply between you and us.
2. Use of Baby Journey
The use of the Service is free of charge. In order to use the Service, you must register and provide certain information in accordance with the instructions presented during registration.
3. Misuse
Baby Journey always reserves the right to terminate your User Account and/or block your email address. This may occur, for example, if you misuse the Service in any way. Misuse may include violation of these Terms. You are required to compensate Baby Journey for any costs resulting from such misuse.
4. Changes, Updates, and Limited Access to Baby Journey
4.1
Baby Journey reserves the right to change the visual design and make updates to the Service at any time. We also reserve the right to modify, suspend, and/or discontinue features in the Service – including but not limited to – functionalities, features, and services, regardless of whether or not advance notice is provided. All new functionality, features, and/or services launched within the Service are subject to these Terms.
4.2
Baby Journey also reserves the right to take action that affects your access to the Service at any time, with or without prior notice, if deemed necessary due to technical, maintenance, or security reasons. Such actions will be carried out promptly and in a way that minimizes disruption to you.
4.3
The exercise of the above rights by Baby Journey does not entitle you to any compensation.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
Baby Journey and/or any Partner Companies retain full ownership and exclusive rights to all materials and results, as well as all related intellectual property rights (including but not limited to copyrights and related rights, software rights and database rights, designs, trademarks, source code, databases, business plans, inventions and patents, registration rights or applications for registration of these, rights to assert superior claims, and all know-how and company-specific knowledge and information), whether or not such rights are registered. All documentation, including layout, design, trademarks, editorial text and film, manuals, user guides, or other written, electronic, or non-electronic descriptions of how Baby Journey is established and used, is considered part of Baby Journey and is thus subject to the same restrictions. Nothing in the Terms shall be interpreted as transferring any of these rights to you in whole or in part.
6. Processing of Personal Data
To provide the Service, Baby Journey processes the User’s personal data. More information on our processing of personal data is available in our Privacy Policy.

7. Support, Communication, and Contact Information
All communication between Baby Journey and the User is conducted electronically via email, support@babyjourney.se, or through the Baby Journey platform. Examples of communications include notifications about service disruptions, new versions, other Service-related information, and support.
8. Force Majeure
A party is released from liability for breach of the Terms if the breach is due to circumstances beyond the party’s control, such as lightning, fire, power outage, strike, war, large-scale military mobilization, requisition, seizure, government regulations, government actions, new or amended legislation, labor market disputes, or similar circumstances.
9. Amendments to the Terms
Baby Journey reserves the right to amend or add to the Terms at any time. Baby Journey will determine when such amendments and/or additions take effect.
10. Disputes
10.1
Swedish law shall apply to these Terms.
10.2
If you believe that a Service provided by us is incorrect, you may contact the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, www.arn.se. We participate in dispute resolution proceedings and comply with ARN’s recommendations.
10.3
Disputes arising out of or in connection with the Terms or your use of Baby Journey shall be resolved in a general court, with Stockholm District Court as the first instance.
